The goal is not simply to give a talk. It is to spark an action the community can repeat.

CZ GREEN arises from the need to create environmental and cultural awareness in Tijuana. The organization uses art, education, creative reuse and urban intervention to turn sustainable messages into practical actions for schools, businesses, neighborhoods, and communities.

An organization shaped by design, place, and Green Education.

We convert sustainability messages into practical actions: educational experiences, public art, documentation and communities working in place.

From place-based insight to visible transformation.

Each project starts from a real context: a space, a school, a community or a story. An experience is then designed, community groups are invited in, and the outcome is documented so it can be repeated or travel beyond its original place.

A forgotten Alley became a cultural corridor: first the problem was recognized, then art arrived, then physical intervention and in the end the community inhabited it again.

The challenge

A deteriorated Alley, with garbage, weeds and little movement. The initial image reveals the real problem: abandonment and lack of ownership.

Diagnosis: recognize the starting point.

2024

The recovery

Urban art renewed the perception of the site. The murals made a new identity visible and opened the door to community participation.

Action: convert abandonment into a sign of identity.

Vision

The new space

The process moved towards a physical intervention: shade, vegetation, lighting, furniture and meeting areas to make the change permanent.

Plan: design conditions to inhabit it.

Social impact

The community returns

The project makes sense when people use it: coexistence, culture, inclusion and pride in a place that was previously invisible.

Result: a cultural corridor with a life of its own.

We don't just recover an Alley. We create a place where people can meet, express themselves and build new stories.

What makes CZ different GREEN?

The experience combines environmental education, design, public art, documentation and participation. It does not stop at a talk: it seeks to leave a practice, a piece or a visible intervention.

Can you work with schools?

Yes. The format can be adapted to school groups, internal campaigns, social service, subject projects or creative reuse experiences.

What are the 7R?

They guide better decisions: recycle, reduce, reuse, reject, respect, reinvent and realize concrete actions.

Where does the name come from CZ?

It grows out of Tijuana's border identity and its visual culture: a way to unite local creativity, green awareness and memorable communication.
